How A Private-Label Program Runs
Two Routes: Adapt A Catalogue Style, Or Build Your Own
Most first orders adapt a style we already run, because sampling is faster and the specification is proven. A design of your own is quoted the same way —the only difference is where the starting point comes from.
What You Control
Shape, length, thickness, grit, colour and logo, plus the packaging the goods leave in. Grit runs from 80 to 240 and is normally ordered as a pair —80/100, 100/180 or 180/240 —so one side shapes and the other refines.
Your logo can be screen printed onto the file, laser etched, or carried on a printed sleeve. Which method suits depends on the surface and on how much detail the artwork carries, so we confirm it on the sample rather than promise it in the first email.
Sampling comes first, always. Nothing goes into bulk until you have approved a counter sample, and sampling is quoted separately from the bulk order.

What You Need To Send Us
For a private-label run we need six things from you. Send what you have, and mark anything still open —we would rather quote with a gap flagged than guess at artwork or a barcode.
- Artwork —your logo in vector (AI, EPS or SVG); a high-resolution PNG or PDF at minimum.
- Barcode —the EAN or UPC number, and exactly where it should sit on the pack.
- Packaging size and format —sleeve, blister card or retail set, with dimensions if you have them.
- Copy for the pack —product name, any claims, and the wording the label has to carry.
- Quantity per style, and how many styles you are running in the first order.
- Destination country and the month you need the goods on the shelf, so sampling time is built in.

Do you charge for samples?+
Sampling is quoted separately from bulk and takes 7–15 days. Sample cost depends on the design and is confirmed at quotation, so you see it before anything is made.
What is the MOQ for a design of my own?+
1,000–3,000 pieces per style, quoted once the design is fixed. A catalogue style you customise starts at 1,000 pieces per style. The minimum is per style, not per order.
Which logo methods can you apply?+
Screen printing, laser etching, or a printed sleeve. The right one depends on the surface and on how much detail your artwork carries —send it and we will say which holds best on the file you have chosen.
Can you work from a physical sample?+
Yes. Send a photo, a drawing or a physical sample and we will quote it as a custom style, with a counter sample for your approval before bulk.
Can you pack for retail with our barcode?+
Yes. Sleeves, blister cards and retail-ready sets can all carry your barcode. Tell us the number and its position when you send the brief so it is placed correctly on the artwork proof.
